It is stinking HOT here. So much for autumn weather. Summer is still hanging around. It is going to be102 degrees farinheit today. It is now 95 degrees with a strong hot wind which is a worry for bushfires. We can expect more of the same right through to the end of next week.
Helen and I have returned from going to the Magistrates Court in the city where Helen wants to do work experience working with the Multicultural Liasion dept. Helen has got the position. She does not start work experience until the last week in july. It is for 5 days. Helen gets to sit in court and see how the interpreting side of things work. She is very pleased with herself as many want to go to the courts, but as clerk of courts or law side of things. They were told Courts were popular so you would have to get in early if they want to go to the courts. She has gone on a different angle. Helen wants to be a french interpreter. Anyway she went back to school to catch up on lessons and have her French Horn lesson.
Oh well the weekend is hear and we haven't any plans this weekend except sit inside with the air conditioner on.

Hi Jo,
I wish I could send you some of our snow. You would be able to give your plants some water and cool down from your extemely HOT
temps! I think I would stay in and stay cool too.

How great for Helen. She is so precious! I know how proud you and Mark are of her. She has so much going on and planning for the future is awesome.
Well, I am off to get some sleep, just wanted to say hello.
Enjoy your weekend and stay Cool.

Hugs
Debbie

Hi honey...yes, I know, I'm very late. We didn't have internet service for 3 days and I'm now trying to play catch up. Not easy. Apparently I have too many friends!!! ;)

Ugh, your weather sounds brutal. Good luck. I hope at least the roses survive. But more important, I hope you don't have wildfires. Living in Southern California for so many years acquainted me with "warm winds" and horrible fires. I'm crossing my fingers for you.

Helen is such a gem. You and Mark are so lucky to have such a smart, fun kid. I hope she enjoys her stint at the court this summer. Although it's just a week, I'm sure she'll learn a lot.

Please give her, Mark and the kitties a big hug and kiss from me. Tell Mark I'm coming! I haven't been on his blog in ages! I'm trying to get there, I swear to God! I was just on Debbie's blog and saw all the stats he left about racing, so had to write something to her, then saw you, but of course egnored him, so hopefully from here I'll go directly to his blog! Then perhaps to Helen's. What a fun circle we have. I love it.

Have a beautiful Easter Weekend and we'll chat soon. Have a nice week at work as well.

Much love,
Suze XO ;0
