Hi bindi,

Thanks for trying to send the rain to us ,we really need the rain here. Weather forcasters keep telling us we might get a late thundery change but it never happens.

Goverment has just announced we will be on water restrictions for the next 3 years. Even number houses are only allowed on sat & tues morning between 6.30am & 8.00am.I have been planting drought tolerant cuttings into the garden.

Just looked at your post and read you had met Cecile. I always think it must be great to meet someone after you have been coresponding with them, it reminds of the old fashoin pen pals days. Bye for now Jo.

Dear Jo,
I wish I could send you some of the snow that is in my yard. I will be glad to see the snow go, but it is good for the water levels. The water levels in our Great Lakes is down so I understand about drought and the rationing of water. We also get our water from a well, but I know many areas that don't.
I also think that blogging is a lot like having a pen pal was. We just don't have to wait for the mail.
It is nice to getting to know you.
Hope your week has been good.
Debbie

Hi Jo,
My meeting with Bindi was very nice. She is just as wonderful in person as she is on her blog and in her comments. She is so much shorter than me and I felt like I towered over her like an amazon. I hope that we can get together again very soon. I very much enjoyed chatting with her. It is sleeting here. We are expected to get 4-8inches of snow tonight and tomorrow, so traveling to work tomorrow morning may prove to be a challenge. But I am always up for a challenge. I plan to wait until daylight before leaving my home, and I think my 4x4 should get me to work and back safely. I hope your weekend is wonderful. And I hope that you and your family remain safe.

Hi Sweetie,

I think your new name is a good one. Go for it.

About rain and water. Oh dear. I know from Mark how much you love your garden and plants. You know I'm with you honey. I told Mark to use the shower water, the bath water, the kitchen sink water! I would do anything to save my plants, so know you would too. I use dish detergent that is biodegratable, so easily used in the garden. You might consider that too.

Good luck sweetie.

Much love,
Suze XO
