Just an update on our bushfires 65 people have lost their lives in the fires and more may come later. The sad thing is some of these fires have been deliberately lit. As well some have been relit after they have been put out. Thankfully the weather has cooled down and we had a little rain this morning.

I hope you are all safe? Sounds very scary. Hope you'll get more rain x
Hi darling. Thinking of all of you.
XO
Hi Jo,
Thank you for visiting my blog, I have a 16 year old granddaughter and we are also going through trying times with her. I am hoping to write my Tuesday post about teenagers and if it helps even one parent that will be great.
Today I posted my second "letter" for Alphabet Sunday. I am trying to follow a new theme for my posts. I have just finished my first week and am starting my second.
I was reading your July posts and you were writing about the fires in California and it is now February and I have been writing about the fires there. I guess all we can do is pray for the safety of everyone.
God Bless you all.
Mrsupole- your teenage post really helped me- so that's at least one!
Hi Jo!
I hope things are cooler for you over there now. I expect you are still dealing with the aftermath of the tragedies. I can't imagine what it must be like to lose everything.
Hi Jo! and Mark! and Helen. Hope you are all well. Though you have both been a bit quiet on the blogging front, I often think of you- funny isn't it how people who have never actually met can feel a connection? thanks for dropping in x
Hi Jo,
Everyone has been having trouble posting and losing their comments for the last week or so. No one knows why. We are not sure if it is because so many people are posting at the same time or if there are too many accounts for the system to handle.
Anyway, have not seen much on the news about what is going on down there, so I hope all is going well. Cinnamon has been writing about some mighty fine heros. Hope you got to see them.
We have been having cool weather, but not really much rain to speak of. So the little rain we have had, they say did not make a dent into the drought. I still am worried about when it heats up, if we will have more fires again. We got just enough rain to cause growth that will be used as fuel. The lakes and reservoirs are still way below the normal level. Only time will tell. I guess El Nino sounds really good to everyone here now.
God Bless. Thanks for the visit.
Hi Jo- I am tagging you! hope you don't mind!
Hello,
I have just nominated you to receive the “When Life Gives You Lemons” blog award.
Visit Mrsupole her at Mrsupole's Place blog to claim your prize.
Congratulations!
Sorry to hear about the fires. I hope your feet are feeling better. Give Mark and Helen my love.
I've given you an award over at my blog.
Hi Jo,
Sorry to hear that Mark isn't blogging for a while. I tried to leave a comment on his blog- but it was doing funny things- whole chunks of text kept disappearing!
Just to say, I hope you are all well and ok. I will look out for his next post, however long it takes. I did leave blogging for a year- sometimes you need to have time out- sometimes things just don't seem real.
My best wishes to all of you XXX
That is terrible. I will pray for your safety.
